On December 10th, the last Breakfast with Innovation of the Chair UAM-Accenture took place at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the UAM.
On this occasion, the Breakfast was entitled “Challenges for Iberia towards European convergence – which opportunities for science and a knowledge strategy?” and we had the honor of having Manuel Heitor, who is the current Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education of Portugal, as guest speaker.
The Minister gave a presentation on the challenges that Spain and Portugal must face in their efforts to converge with the rest of Europe in the progress towards a knowledge-based economy, as well as the opportunities for collaboration between both countries.
